When was the last time you heard the name Junior Dos Santos? It was probably at an Eagle FC fight. The former UFC heavyweight champion was looking good and was on his way to winning the fight against Yorgan De Castro. However, he ended up with a dislocated right shoulder and needed medical attention. The bout was stopped at 0:35 in Round 3.
Dos Santos, now aged 41, was hoping to reinvent himself with a new promotion, Eagle FC. However, he ended up dislocated his shoulder in the main event. The dislocation left Junior with a complicated injury that cost him his fight. He dropped to 21-10 overall and lost his fifth straight bout. Although the UFC was a big part of his life, he is still dissatisfied with the way things are going.
After the fight, Dos Santos remained angry and tried to pop his shoulder back into place. But it didn’t work. He was then forced to concede the fight.
